Getting Ready for Halloween

Last year kicked off what we decided was going to be one of our annual traditions. Mom always let us carve pumpkins around Halloween and I always loved it. Last year Dave and I sat outside and took at stab at it and he, too decided it was just as fun - minus scooping out the insides :) which he calls my "job"... Yeah.

I didn't have to work today and with Halloween just a week away, we thought today would be a great time to go find our pumpkins! We headed to Wal-Mart, picked out our two and grabbed a little tool kit on the way out.

It has been a beautiful day today. The weather was a perfect to sit outside and enjoy pumpkin carving!


The mums are blooming and our pumpkins are carved... All we're waiting on is a little cooler weather and an incredible Alabama vs. Tenneessee football this weekend!
